Terms for FREE Riser Card [ more info ]
- RiserCard and PCI bracket is included at NO charge if and only if the motherboard AND the
supported PCI cards are also purchased at the SAME time as the 1U chassis.
- Problem is that we dont know which PCI bracket you need till you buy a motherboard
and the supported PCI card if needed.
- This should reduce frustrations and post-sales followup support.

Terms for FREE CPU Cooling fan
- A CPU cooling fan, suitable for 1U servers is included at NO charge if and only if the
cpu is purchased at the same time as the 1U chassis.
- Does NOT include the optional 2 CPU cooling fans on the side of the chassis
- These two optional fans are not required for celeron-class processors
- These two optional fans are highly recommended for P3-class processors

Terms for FREE ATX Power Cable picture
- An ATX power extension cable is included at NO charge if and only if the motherboard
is purchased at the SAME time as the 1U chassis.

Minimal Parts 1U Server
- For most servers/users, the onboard NIC should be sufficient for most applications
- The rear PCI bracket can be "blank"
- The RiserCard is NOT needed.

Preferred ATX Motherboards [ more info ]
- At this time, we currently support only a few motherboards due to the
physical positions of its PCI connectors.
- Motherboard used affects positions of the PCI slots available
- These motherboards have an available PCI slot immediately adjacent to the sound connector
- Intel CA810, Tyan Tomcat i810ef series
- These motherboards have an available PCI slot at the 2nd position from the sound connector
- Asus Super810, SuperMicro 370SEA
- These motherboards have an available PCI slot at the 3rd position from the sound connector
- Intel D815EEAAL - require a special/customized PCI bracket for each PCI card
- Any ATX or microATX motherboard with matching PCI slot positions is supported.

Supported PCI cards [ more info ]
- A RiserCard is required only when one or more PCI card is to be used
- Our 1U chassis require a matching rear PCI bracket for each supported PCI card
- Our 1U chassis supports 2 PCI cards ( ideal for firewall servers )
- Currently, we only support the following PCI cards
- small Dlink 530TX+, Netgear FA310TX, 3Com 3C905
- Dlink 530TX+ are also sold as Trendware TE100-PCIWN, Cnet Pro120, Wisecom R420Tx
- Next set of supported PCI cards includes
- Intel Pro/100+, SMC EZNet-10/100, LinkSys LNE100Tx
- Buslogic BT958, Adaptec UW2940W
- Custom PCI brackets may be made per your specifications and its costs passed on to you.
